To maintain your brushes, wash them with soap and water and air-dry with the bristles facing down. Avoid leaving the brushes submerged in water, as this can cause the wood to crack and the bristles to soften or fall out. When a brush reaches the end of its life, it is fully compostable. Simply remove the metal component from the brush head before placing the rest in your compost bin.
