Aromatherapy Shower Steamers

Shower steamers are very similar to bath bombs, typically you use more essential oils and use menthol crystals to enhance a strong fragrance, especially comforting to help ease the congestion associate with sinus problems, colds, flu or allergies. The vapor action of the menthol crystals will help relieve congestion by open up your sinuses and help you breathe easier.
Directions:
Set your shower to the hottest you can comfortable shower in, Get it steamy! Briefly wet the shower steamers until it is bubbling and set on the shower floor. Set it out of the direct steam of water. You can sprinkle a little bit on the steamer to get it started, but it will fizz away too quickly if you put it directly under the water stream.
Our shower steamers ingredients are:
Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), citric acid, corn starch, tapioca starch, white kaolin clay, menthol crystals, essential oils, colorants. Unlike bath bombs, we don’t put oil or a melted butter in them to help them hold together, or you’ll end up with a slippery shower floor. Some are loaded with x-strength menthol crystals there are sure to create an invigorating aromatherapy experience!
Purpose of each ingredient:
Baking soda reacts with the citric acid to create fizz.
Citric acid provides the fizz in the shower/tub
Corn Starch or Clay are binding agents prevent the shower tablet not dissolve as quickly
Our shower steamers are approx. 1.05 oz. each, shrink-wrapped to preserve freshness. These are handmade in in small batches for better quality, color and weight may vary slightly. Each tablet is good for at least one long 10 minutes shower. Store in an airtight container to prevent premature fizzing.
Currently available in few different variations:
Sinus Relief ~ help with uncomfortable congestion during the winter. Made with Eucalyptus and Rosemary essential oils or made with Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Rosemary essential oils.
Wake Me Up ~ boost your morning with a fabulous fragrance that contains the scent of fresh oranges. Made with Orange essential oil.
Relax Away ~ calming scent of lavender, smells like fresh lavender blooms. Made with Lavender and Vanilla essential oils.
Muscle Rescue ~ helps to relieve tension. Made with Eucalyptus, Orange, Rosemary and Peppermint Essential Oils.
Energizing ~ help rejuvenating for your mind and body. Made with Wintergreen, Sweet Orange and Spicy Ginger Essential Oils.
Precautions:
They are not bath bombs since they have a very high concentration of essential oils and this could irritate your skin. Be careful that your feet don’t touch the tablet to avoid slipping on it.
These shower steamers are also available in my shop. So, if you don’t want to make them yourself, you can still enjoy them.
